Featured Bible Character of the Week

Joseph is a major figure in the Book of Genesis in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament). He was Jacob's eleventh son and Rachel's first. He is also mentioned favourably in the Qur'an.
Joseph, son of Jacob, is one of the best-known figures in the Torah (5 books of Moses), famous for his coat of many colors and his God-given ability to interpret dreams, but, due to jealousy, his brothers sold him into slavery for 20 pieces of silver. Eventually he worked under the Egyptian official Potiphar, and was then imprisoned wrongfully, but was later freed and became the chief adviser to the Egyptian Pharaoh. (Read all about the life of this remarkable Bible Hero from Genesis Chap.37).
